Using a new unique 360 degree floodlight module there is a single red floodlight at the back and two white floodlights at the front. The lights shine out from every angle so horse riders wearing Light Harness/Baglite will be seen clearly by motorists any time day or night from a distance of 1km.  The lights can be turned on and off and set to different modes – flashing, constant or off. Although the constant mode is advised to start off with for horse riders, so as not to startle the horses with the flashing mode, testing with young horses has not seen any horses bothered by the flashing lights as they are positioned well away from the line of sight and flash at an appropriate rate.
