Pedalite Charity Fundraising

Pedalite International Ltd provides a fund raising scheme for charities who wish to embrace environmental concerns, safety and promote health through exercise whilst raising funds. Registered charities and authorised good causes can promote Pedalite Pedals to their members and supporters, either through newsletters, their website or face to face and for each pair sold, either directly or through a special numbers entered when ordering through the Pedalite website, Pedalite will donate £4.00 to the charity or fund raising scheme.

As well as being a safety product and promoting exercise through cycling, the “green” credentials and corporate governance and compliance of Pedalite are impressive:

  • The products have full CE certification.
  • Our manufacturing facilities are fully ISO 9001 UKAS Quality Management certified.
  • Pedalite have performed Manufacturing facility inspections (in addition the Factories have also been checked by M&S, Argos and other UK high street names).
  • Pedalite have contractual assurances that the manufacture of the products will not involve a) child labour b) abuse human rights or c) contravene international/UN regulations relating to the manufacture of goods.
  • Obviously the products are completely battery free (harvesting the existing energy from the pedals going around and storing this) and there is no extra energy required from the rider.
  • The packaging is made predominantly from recycled paper and there is no plastic.
  • Pedalite transport, where possible, by ship to keep our carbon footprint as low as possible.

Pedalite supports the Children’s Safety Education Foundation

The Children’s Safety Education Foundation aims to promote and further the Personal Safety, Social, Health and Citizenship Education of children and young people throughout the United Kingdom and Eire.
