Baglite weighs approximately 200gms
What size backpacks and Rucksacks does Baglite fit
to?
Baglite is designed to be fitted to any size of backpack, rucksack or bag
that fits over the shoulders. There are pictures on this website of
Baglite fitting comfortably to small backpacks, full rucksacks and hiking bags.
So far we have not found a bag worn over the shoulders that Baglite does not fit
exceptionally well.
Can Baglite be worn without a bag? as a harness?
Yes. While this is not what it was originally designed
for, almost as soon as it was developed someone put it
on without a bag and said “look it can also work great like
this”. Since then we have had many compliments on
how well it works as just a lightweight harness.
Does Baglite fit to Panniers?
No. Baglite was designed for bags that fit over the shoulders and has
two white lights on the front and 1 red light on the back. Although
someone could probably fix it to panniers this is not what it was designed for.
Are the solar panels part of the product or do you
connect them separately?
The Solar Cells are inside the unique Pedalite solar light units and as such
are an integral part of the unit and stay with the unit
at all times. There are no additional components
that need to be connected to Baglite.
Does it really charge from artificial light?
Yes and actually very well. Pedalite International are specialists in
energy harvesting products and our unique Pedalite solar light unit collects
light from any source, stores it and reuses it. The product was designed
like this, put Baglite on your bag, take the bag to an office or school, set the
bag down and as long as there is a light source it is recharging.
Is it possible to have
only the white light shining steadily?
No. The lights all work as one unit (one on/off
switch) that is situated on the front left master light
unit.
