manufactures and distributes environmentally friendly
safety products worldwide. All of our products are
unique and are successfully sold in over 40 countries by
some of the very best distributors and retailers
worldwide, in fact the Pedalite range of products are
now the best selling environmentally friendly cycling,
walking, hiking, equestrian, running and jogging safety
accessories worldwide!
Pedalite International specialises in highly efficient
energy harvesting and energy reuse. These
specialisations have been utilised in a range of safety
products for cyclists, horse riders, walkers and other
outdoor pursuits that consider each of health, safety
and the environment. While the energy reuse technologies
are similar across the range of products the efficient
energy harvesting is different for different types of
product.
The company's
best selling products include the unique 360 degree visibility
battery-free pedal lights,
for cyclists, that harvest Kinetic energy and then stores
it to efficiently re-use and keep the safety lights on
even when cycling has stopped.
The Pedalite Baglite
and
Anklelite products harvest
light energy, which is a form of
solar energy and are used by
cyclists, walkers, horse-riders, runners and many others. The range is
complemented with a sub-range of organic (eco) lubricants,
greasers and cleaners under the
Green Oil brand.
Research
As
part of a commitment to the markets in to which Pedalite
sells its products, the company commissions and collates
various research that is often published as part of its
SHE (Safety, Health and the
Environment) advocacy campaign. Specific

Company Milestones
In July
2007 Pedalite was acquired by the Mpower1 Group of
companies (www.mpower1.com);
a major business development organisation, which has
increased investment, accelerated product development,
attracted celebrity endorsement for Pedalite products,
initiated a major marketing campaign and underwritten
the future of Pedalite.
Tony Doyle MBE, twice World Pursuit Champion, four times European Track Champion
and safety campaigner for cycling became an ambassador and spokesperson for Pedalite International Ltd
in 2007. Tony promotes Pedalite products at exhibitions, cycling shows and through cycling clubs, retail outlets and in schools throughout the UK, highlighting the part they play in cycling safety. As spokesperson, Tony also plays a key role in helping explain, through the media, the importance to cyclists of using Pedalite
products.
February 2008 saw the formal launch of the Pedalite SHE Campaign which is an
awareness campaign run by Pedalite International to raise the publics awareness
of the challenges and benefits of cycling and the importance of being seen from
the side by other road users when you are cycling.
All of Pedalite's products adhere to three principles; they address issues of safety, health and the

October 2008 was the launch date for the
Baglite and Anklelite products for the cycling market
and the Lite Harness and Anklelite for the
equestrian
market.
March
2009 saw Pedalite exclusively launch and
distribute the award winning environmentally friendly
range of Green Oil products. development also continued
on enhancing the existing range of Pedalite products and
finalising further new products for launch later in
2009.
May
2009 marked Pedalite launching a the light energy
harnessing products successfully for
walkers, hikers, runners and
Joggers.
Pedalite International continue to invest in new
products and further extensions to the range are planned
in the coming months.
