New battery-free Anklelite gadget will keep runners safe in the dark mornings and evenings

22 January 2008 – Millions of runners training in the dark early mornings and evenings can now be seen clearly by motorists, pedestrians and cyclists thanks to Anklelite, a unique, new, solar-powered lighting gadget from award-wining safety lighting specialist, Pedalite International.

Retailing at just £12.49/$24.99, Anklelite is an exceptionally lightweight, weather-resistant ankle strap which weighs just 85 grams. Simple to put on, it fits easily and comfortably around the runner’s ankle/lower leg.
